Human Service & Philanthropy

Dear Brothers,

As part of our 20th year anniversary celebrations, the active chapter would like to present our “$20k for 20 Years” fundraising campaign. Our goal is to raise $20 000 for various charities by April 2009. This is an opportunity to help worthy causes and also to help Acacia build a stronger presence within the community.

We already have a donation of $1700 from an anonymous alumnus member. This donation amount (which was a match of what was raised all of last year) was a challenge to the active chapter to raise more and do more for the community. And with that, we are proud to say we have taken that challenge on.

We will be holding numerous events over the course of the upcoming year with all proceeds to be distributed between 5 charities. They include:

You will receive a tax receipt for any charitable donation that you make. When making a donation let the operator know that you are calling on behalf of Acacia Fraternity and that the donation is being made in honor of Acacia. Please keep in mind that any donation amount is welcome.

We know that the brothers of Acacia will not let these charities or their communities down. By donating, you are not only showing your support for your Fraternity, but you will also be setting an excellent example that the significance of our Human Service motto exists as a permanent part of our lives.

Feel free to visit back here for an update on our progress. On this site you will also find a schedule of upcoming social and philanthropy events. We hope you will drop by the active chapter and say hi.

Thanks for time and your donations.

Fraternally,
